Island offers a bus load of hospitality
Aruba's travel campaign which invites guests to enjoy its perfect beaches and 90,000 friends they haven't met yet is being advertised around the entire island via an "Arubus'.
Sponsored by Marriott's Aruba Surf Club and the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) the "90,000 friends" message features images of the Aruban community and welcomes guests to enjoy the island's hospitality.
"The introduction of the '90,000 friends' campaign on the bus is a great way to spread Aruba's welcoming message and in two ways," said Bettina Gonzalez, project director of sales and marketing for Marriott Vacation Club in Aruba. "Not only does it recognize the community for making Aruba such a special place, but it also communicates to visitors that we are thrilled to have them as our guests."
The "90,000 friends" bus is one of nine buses that Marriott Vacation Club utilizes in its on-island advertising campaign. While the majority of these buses are used to specifically promote Marriott's Aruba Surf Club and Marriott's Aruba Ocean Club, the "90,000 friends" bus serves as a public service message s supported by the ATA. The incorporation of this campaign on the Arubus vehicle was accomplished with the assistance of Angel Osorio of Art & Design.
"ATA is pleased to partner with Marriott Vacation Club in Aruba on the '90,000 friends' campaign," said Myrna Jansen, ATA director.
